One of the most popular and fun music gizmos out there, this six-stringed instrument is believed to have its origins over 3500 years ago - in ancient Egypt! The guitar wasn’t a very popular instrument until after the 19th century, but it’s come a long way since then, and we’ve all fallen in love with it...so much so, that British musician Chris Black even married his guitar! Well, you don’t need that kind of commitment to sign up for this class.
This class will introduce you to the fundamentals of guitar playing. Master basic chords, strumming techniques, and learn to play songs in a variety of genres. You will also develop your technique so that you can pursue more advanced study.
